Postdoctoral Research at the Department of Management Science and Technology

The Department of Management Science and Technology at the University of the Peloponnese offers scientists the opportunity to conduct Postdoctoral Research (P.R.) in fields related to the research interests and academic disciplines of the Department and its established Research Laboratories.

Postdoctoral research is defined as specialized research conducted within an academic unit of the University by a PhD holder, who is accepted by the Department to advance academic knowledge through cutting-edge research and scientific innovation.

Objectives of Postdoctoral Research

Postdoctoral research aims to:

  1. Expand the knowledge base, by continuing and broadening the outcomes of the researcher’s doctoral dissertation into new scientific directions of interest to the Department.

  2. Develop new research areas, relevant to the researcher’s scientific expertise, thereby enhancing the research capacity of the Department.

  3. Contribute to solving specialized research challenges, addressing scientific and technological problems that align with the Department’s academic focus and producing innovative results.

  4. Support and strengthen competent researchers, enabling them to contribute to the advancement of science, research, and practical applications in management and technology.

  5.  Enhance international academic recognition, promoting the Department’s research prestige through high-impact publications and advanced research contributions.
