Department of Management Science and Technology

As the chairman of the Department and representing all the staff, teaching, administrative and technical, I welcome you to the website of the Department of Management Science and Technology of the School of Economics and Technology of the University of Peloponnese, based in Tripoli.

The mission of the Department of Management Science and Technology is education and research in the fields of Management Science and modern technologies with emphasis on the formulation of business strategy, the development and empowerment of human resources of enterprises and organizations, the transformation of business activities, utilizing information and communication technologies.

Our ultimate goal, however, is to inspire our students to create, to continuously improve and learn, to achieve academic and professional excellence so that our students can become the driving force for social change and improvement of the quality of life of citizens.   The Department's curriculum will contribute effectively to the preparation of our students to achieve the above goals by harmoniously combining the disciplines of management and technological sciences.

The faculty members of the Department have extensive experience in teaching and research in management and technological sciences, publish in scientific journals, participate as speakers in scientific conferences, participate in research projects in collaboration with universities in Greece and abroad.

The Department currently operates three institutionalized research laboratories, offers two postgraduate programs and a doctoral program.  Furthermore, the Department participates and/or organizes on a continuous basis Conferences, Workshops and scientific events in collaboration with scientific, educational, cultural and social institutions of the Peloponnese Region and/or abroad. It has concluded memoranda of understanding with scientific institutions in Greece and abroad.
